Why are there no long term bandsters on OH?

I'll add ot that (thinking of "favourite" ) that I am the only one who can spell.

I am an avid proofreader, but I have finally accustomed myself to your "favourites-type" brit speak, sweet Kate!!  Also, things that end in "ize" are spelled "ise" by you, right (i.e., "realise").  We are global, babeeeee!  lol

I appreciate the advice of the long term bandsters.  I am on her often but mostly just lurking.  So there are a lot of us here that you don't see. 

I post if it is something important or different.  But, most everything has been covered and I usually just try to find that.

Being newly banded, Some of the members on here can be overwhelming before going into surgery, but with that said, I find many more members to be kind and genuine....I like to think I can come here with any question or concern and get an answer from someone who truly has my best interest in mind...Many of us on here do not have a support system at home by our choice or through the negativity of our family and so called friends. It is truly a gift to have this site...The advice is priceless and always knowing that someone here makes traveling on this journey a lot less worrisome. I know this is the first place members come when they have a question, concern, or complaint..but the last place when things are going great!...I just appreciate those that hang around!...I often refer to you guys as the girls online when Im talking to others about new recipes or health related issues...SO this site has become a major part of my life, even though I lurk more than I post...

I pop in from time to time and will never forget all the great support I received here. I will be 4 years out this summer. I did well - lost 120 lbs in a year. However, I've gained back about 40 and  I have to admit that's embarassing. Still, I am engaged to the man of my dreams and have been teaching fitness classes at my gym for 3 years, so I wouldn't trade my lapband for anything. 

What's 40lbs when you are HAPPY!!!!
