Work that body!
Dont' know how things are where you are today, but it is another absolutely gorgeous Spring- like day here today! I just want to encourage you to get moving or keep moving, whatever the case. I had just started kicking it up a notch with my exercise routine when on Feb. 24th, I was involved in a car accident. A little white truck hit my car, totaled it & interrupted my life. I'm OK, 2 surgeries down, perhaps 1 more to go for my broken ankle. SO THANKFUL for WLS & that EMS workers & others had much less of me to work with.
My point: Learning to walk with a walker calls for upper body strenght which I have little of. If you've lost some of the weight, then it's time to get that body in shape. So my friends, work it, work it, work it. I should we starting to walk again & go to rehab a week from tomorrow- WOO-HOO!
Happy Week-end!

I will wish you fast healing and better days ahead.
You are so right in the fact that upper body strength is important with the use of walkers and crutches. I take care of a lot of Ortho patients and some people can't even sit upright in bed when they have had a knee replacement done. No core strength etc.
Okay, I'm about to do the 30 day shred now. I'm tired, but gonna do it!
