I have not been banded yet so I am not speaking from an experience I have had but a girl I knew from another duty station had a band (not sure if ti was Realize or LapBand) but she used to eat her soup broth with a spoon rather than drink it, that way she took it in a lot slower.  I wish I could offer more help with help, but Im glad you are feeling good so soon after surgery

Good luck to you.  I started on a military base as well.  When the military process works and you live close to the base it really works well.  I know I started with a spoon and the broth was tasting like filet mignon.  I was disappointed when I got to the bottom of my cup. When you are hungry 4 ounces is not a lot.  I don't feel so ravaged today so I can put this tip of common sense into play.  Thanks and I will be following your journey as we military wives have to stick together.

Congrats! With my ass being a whole lot thinner I can now officially scoot over and literally make room for you on the losers bench LMAO. All joking aside I want to give you a sincere welcome to being banded and I hope you have a wonderful journey! Kari

You are always good for a laugh.  I know what you mean by the smaller butt.  My Pj's are looking really loose.  I am looking forward to a wonderful journey and am truly hoping for the best.

Thank you and congrats to you.  I plan on staying strong and positive-that is half of the battle with anything.  State of mind.
