Happy Weekend Everyone,

I just want to let you all know that I had surgery on Wednesday, March 9th and all things considered I am doing very well.  When I am up and moving I feel fine, although getting up and down is another story completely.  I miss that automatic hospital bed; I am beginning to realize how much we use our stomach muscles.  No complaints here-I knew it wasn't a pedicure.  The gas is the worst and I thank you all who told me to get the Gas-X!!!!  It has been my saving grace.

Well you guys scoot over and make room for me on that loser's bench!

Thanks for all of your advice and suggestions, they have been very helpful.  Be patient with me, I am sure I will have a bunch of questions.

Thanks Wendy -wow you have lost and maintained good job.  I am moving around pretty well.  After I eat the gas comes, I think I may be drinking too fast.  I was sooooo hungry yesterday, I think I inhaled my broth.  I had better slow down.

The time before you eat regular foods and before your fill take the time to practice eating slowly. To do ths at first I ate alone so  I can focus on the way I ate. You can also eat jello and sugar free ice pops.

Yes, Jell-o is really helping the sweet tooth.  Eating alone is a good idea for EVERYBODY in my house.  It maybe key to their survival and mine.
