Feeling so defeated :(
Hi Sarah,
I hope it gets better soon. I bet you will have a big loss, soon. Maybe for some reason your body is just "adjusting", I know that darn scale can be so "mean" and make us all feel terrible. But if you are doing the right things, then you are doing what is needed. Hugz!!

Hi Sarah,
So, I'll ask you what my therapist asked me. "What happens if you don't lose more weight?"
I'm in the same place you are. I even joined WW on your recommendation for the weekly weigh in and accountability and I have long 9.8 of the 19 lbs I gained.
I hardly exercise at all but move a lot more in general than I did before surgery. I know that exercise will help and I'm working on that, but even if I don't get to my goal (25 lbs more to lose) which isn't even near a healthy BMI, I know that I've added years to my life. I can do anything I want to do now. I can wear a regular 16 and I feel great. What else do I need in life? Really. I've come soooo far.
Maybe your body is reacting to the stress and pressure you're feeling. Try making a list of what will happen if you don't lose another lb I bet it will be a short list! You've come so far. Keep doing what you're doing and as long as you're not gaining, and your having fun. Don't stress it. I truly believe our bodies react in ways we'll never fully understand to stress.
Another thing, check your measurments. I'll bet you'll see the benefit of everything you're doing there!
It's time to enjoy life!
Best~

WTG on your WW loss!! You are doing great Thanks Lisa! I know you're right and ironically I was asked this question in the pre op therapy session. At that time I said if I even lose 50% of my excess weight I'll be ecstatic (and I am). It really a mental block that I need to get past because I am very happy with my current weight so I shouldn't be so fixated on a goal which may be genuinely unattainable for me. I feel far better today after all of the wonderful words of support I received here and am planning to proceed on my exercise journey with the attitude that it's for my health and not my dress size. Thanks again!
