What a difference ---

I saw my surgeon on Tuesday.

We talked about progress and goals -- told him that I would like to still lose about 8 - 10 pounds to have a good cushion and to have 23 BMI.

I told him that I have been bouncing around the same 2 - 3 pounds for about 6 weeks and asked for a little more fill.

He asked me to be honest and whether my weight loss stall was due to 'portions or choices'.
I told him that honestly, being able to eat bigger portions was helping me to make poor choices.

He gave me .25 cc ---- and what a huge difference.

Last week, I spent all day long thinking, "I could eat" --- and trying to decide what to eat --- and today, I eat my portion and think, "I could not eat anymore".

Having the right amount of fill really takes the 'mental munchies' away for me.

Made my next appointment for 6 months from now ---- got a big hug and an 'attagirl' from my sweet doctor, and instructions to keep in touch if I have any issues.  I love that guy!!!

Wow it is so funny to think that such a small amount can help so much, but I hope that it is what it will take to get you to your goal....and in much less than 6 months    It sounds like you have a great doctor and I hope that my doctor will be just as good.  Sounds like you are doing great, congrats

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I haven't had a fill for a long time. I might have to think about getting one.  I have an appt. in a month.

I think this is the key too success.  We have a higher maintenance WLS and a good working relationship with our Dr is crucial for continued success.

You have done a fantastic job.
Remember, if you want to be a 155 pound person, you have to EAT like one.

Congrats Kath,
I went in to see me surgeon today and he scheduled me for a small fill tomorrow.  I'm having the same trouble thinking about food way to soon after I eat.  I have been a year since my last fill and think it's time to have a tweak.  Good luck and hope this help us.
