Feel good in the US
In a recent thread, someone told me (shock, horror) your gas now costs as much as $3.20 a gallon.
FEEL GOOD. In the UK it cost over $9 a gallon!!!!!

Even if I lived in my town.. there's no buses here. I live 5 miles out.. I drive in once a day to go to my gym and try to coordinate all my errands to run while I'm in town.
I have a trip to see my oncologist coming up at the end of this month.. which is a 200 mile drive.. ONE way...that will be fun.
My bariatric doc is an hour drive from me.. I think I'm going to start carpooling with a few other gals from my city when I go to support group.. or else cut way back on going. (don't get that much out of it anyhow..)
Gas is 3.38 here.. without the 15cent discount. That was earlier today.. who knows what it will be tomorrow.
www.gasbuddy.com might be helpful.
Between gas prices and then on top of that my car insurance going up additional 190 bucks when I add him to the policy yikes !!!!!

The big problem is that Americans don't like small cars or diesels..I would love a 4 cylinder diesel....Not available, except VW. So if you drive a pick up that has the gas mileage of a tank it might as well be 9 bucks a gallon,,,My theory is.....If gas prices keep going up, the powers in charge will finally encourage the manufacture of small cars and diesels..Can you just imagine how great it would be to own a 4 cylinder BMW x1 diesel running on French fry oil powered bio diesel here in the States..we'd never run out of fuel......Hello BMW people.........!!
they told me that Americans will not accept 4 cylinder "luxury cars" go figure...
