How many times a day do you eat to include snacks...

 I eat 3-6 meals/snacks a day.  My Nut would rather I have 6 but I do have a hard time doing that regularly.  Basically, 3 oz of protein every 3 hrs 5 times a day is when I do the best- but I can't always do that.  What your carbs if your still trying to lose weight.   Good luck  Lori

I used to do oatmeal before working out and liked it.  I think it did help me work longer.  Then again, I don't go to the gym for just an hour or one class.. if I'm there, I'm in for a minimum of 90 minutes and usually 3 hours or more.

I'm now drinking a protein drink before working out, but it's one with a little carb in it.  I need to get back to my oatmeal.

Today.. coffee @ 6am.  Muscle Milk light 8am. (gym classes from 8:30 till 11am)  Syntrax Nectar 11am.  Lunch 1pm. Snack 5pm. (snack & supper got their times switched today.. oh well)   It's almost 8pm and I'm about to have supper.  Will go to bed about 10pm.. get up about 5 or 6am and do it all again.  :)

I eat 3 to 5 times a day it depends on what I eat for B L D and how much usually my day goes like this

coffee 6am
breakfast 8.00am  1/2 english muffin alternative 1/2 slice turkey sausage 1/2 slice cheese  if I eat the whole sandwich I dont need the morning snack

snack  if hungry at 10.00 1/2 banana  45 cal yogurt low carb

lunch  at 12.00 pm 1/2 orowheat multi grain sandwich thin with turkey, cheese , lettuce

coffee  2.00pm

dinner at 5.00pm  chili homemade  or meatballs

Thanks everyone for your input.... It does help....I will try to eat the oatmeal in the AM before the workout, but like someone else said band is tight in the AM so I normally just have coffee..

Band date/weight= Dec 13, 05/ 320 lbs

I have a 8 oz. protein drink at 6:30 am and then for lunch at 1:30 I have 4 oz. protein and 1 cup of veg. then for supper at 6:30 I have 4 oz. protein and 1 cup veg. Then if I need a snack I eat a banana.
