Gallbladder surgery

I had gallstones a year ago and they were removed by Ecrp but they left my gallbladder. I was banded on Feb 16th and last night after dinner I had a bad gallbladder attack and they found gallstones and said my gallbladder needs removed but want me to wait a while because it is to much surgery that close to the band. Did anyone have to do surgeries close together? Was the recovery harder?

I had mine removed 6 weeks after having a c section . As I remember it it was much like the band recovery not as gasey though. Not as sore either. I was so relieved to have mine out to stop the attacks lol.
