Surgery date: March 28, 2011...somewhat scared

 I agree about the privacy thing although I wish I hadn't told everyone!! So now as you say I will feel pressure on me!  The one thing though that has kept me encouraged is my faith in God and because of that I know I will be alright.  Thanks for the kind words.

I think you are making the right step for a better future.I've had my surgery done on 2/18 and i absolutely love it.I feel great and Thank God to Dr.Fielding it was a dream come true.Originaly i went for this surgery on 12/14/2010 by a different doctor,but i guess that doctor had better things to do or this surgery doesnt pay much by the insurance,so i have gone under anestesia and had 5 wholes in my stomach and no band.And than i went to the NYU Medical Center to Dr.Fielding and he made it happen.Now I'm on the right road to weight loss and did not get disscouraged.Just go with it and i'm sure you'll be happy.I've tried every diet in the book and nothing did it except the band.Good Luck

 Wow! Wait a min...you got cut on and no band was put in????? WHAT???? I don't think I am understanding!?
