I never planned to get married... then I met Shahrokh and couldn't help myself haha. It was meant to be... can't really explain. BUT... we did the legal paperwork (no wedding yet)... and a lot of you asked me for photos...

So here's the man that loves me and accepts me with all my hanging skin and lack of boobs and everything haha... and is so proud of my weight loss achievements.

And in case you were worried that he is not crazy like me.... he is...

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

Elena, I have seen your progress since you first got your band - and I am so proud that I have done so!!

You are unrecognisable from your early photos - a true inspiration!

I am not saying fatter people can't enjoy life to the full - they can! But I wonder if you would have ever had the courage to go to S Korea before losing weight? And how wonderful that your (very dishy!) husband can pick you up and carry you!!!

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.
