OH YOU **** ME OFF!!

OK, I'm about to get off this site for good.

Moderators, did you even read the thread that you just pulled because someone hit the report button???  The reporters were wrong.  It was not an advertising thread, and had a great deal of positive information.

To my other OH "friends", please do not make assumptions.  It's more effective to simply *ask*.

To LeeinGastonbary, I'm sorry.  Welome to the site.  If you still want to participate in this forum (not sure I do), please post a thread "Intro", and tell about yourself.  You have a lot to offer other bandsters!

I am seriously shaking, I'm so pissed.

Unbelievable, the posters on this sight who are blatantly  hawking their wears are never pulled.  Example, signature lines. avatars, all the trolls etc. Oh well, you get what you pay for.  I think of this sight and forum like I do my family, you get the good with the bad.  So many great veteran bandsters have left this sight, all the extreme pettiness and jealously.  They were so knowledgeable and understanding.  It really is a major loss. Finally we get a poster *****ally has accomplished the impossible and is willing to share how she did it.  Boggles the mind doesn't it.

EXACTLY!   The answer to the oft asked question, "Where are all the long-term successful bandsters?"  They get chased off!  There is one person who makes it her personal challenge to do so, *and* promote her blog at the same time.

Perhaps I, too, am guilty of making assumptions, since I don't know exactly why the thread was pulled.  I just know the OP was attacked with accusations of advertising, which she clarified in a later message in the thread.  As the person who invited her to the Lap Band forum after she posted on the Main Forum, I felt bad for the way she was treated.

Tami, the thread has gone so I can't read the answer you say she gave to explain her first post!

I am afraid I assumed she was advertising!  She is a new member, with no posting history and I couldn't find anything about her on her profile!  I apologise to her if it was not advertising!

We certainly should not be chasing people off here so I hope she (Leslee was it??) will come back and join us on this board!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

She is LesleeInGlastonburyand I'm wondering if she decided OH isn't worth the effort, since she hasn't posted since the thread was pulled.

She explained that she is personal trainer, with clients in CT, so highly unlikely that she would get business from posting on OH.  And, although she is new here, the few other messages that she posted so far indicated that she is a legitimate bandster.  Everything I read that she posted here and on the Main Forum showed that she's smart, has a realistic approach to band life, and has transformed her life and body with the help of the band, and with a LOT of exercise.  She also participates in figure competitions, and that's amazing for anyone who has ever been obese, and we can learn a lot from her!

I really didn't think that there were any "moderators" to be honest.

When you have obvious psycho's on here and they don't get suspended, it blows my mind.

Just my $.02.
