We do have that law in the county I live in here in Seattle.  It is horrifying but I love having the access to the calories, (all restaurants must have the calorie info available by request), that some choose to put on the menu. 

Interestingly, the statistics show that the law, (in place for just over a year), has not affected peoples choices or made a difference to the food sales at all!

It sure makes a difference to me.  I went the Cheesecake Factory and there were very few choices under 1000 calories!  It's kind of disgusting when you think about the excesses.  1000 is 3 meals for me and my band!

Gotta love America where, when it comes to food, bigger is perceived as better!
