Hi there....
I have not posted in a while but I wanted to tell you all about a NSV this past week!
I went on my first airplane since having my surgery (after loosing almost 40 lbs) and although I did still have to use an extender I could put the armrest down and not be totally uncomfortable  and even more exciting I could put the tray down and it laid flat!  for those of you with the big belly know what I am saying!!!

I was really quite happy.  Also on my trip I only gained 1.4 lbs, must of which I think was water retention!!  So I am PROUD of myself!!

Just wanted to share that and to say I love my band!!!

Thanks for reading!

~ANNA

The band may not be perfect, but it will be perfect for me!

I think it is the NSVs like this which are the most amazing! You must feel great!

But just wait until you find yourself complaining because you pull the tray as far towards you as the tray will move and the gap between the tray and your stomach is annoying large and all the crumbs fall on to your lap!!!! Because the trays are designed for peope who are larger than you!!!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Congratulations ----- huge NSV.

I remember the days when I needed an extender -- yesterday, I had over 6 inches of 'spare' seatbelt ---- and could sit in my seat - with no overflow -- and able even to cross my legs ---- I almost cried.

Trust me -- it only gets better from here!!!!

Good work!
