Living with my empty band atm...

Doing okay with food, not really as tempted as I would have thought would be at this point...even though it IS that lovely time of the month... I was really worried that I would eat things that were bad and just like automatically revert to old me....I needed a snack today while out driving and went through Wendy's drivethrough to get a chili... saw a poster that read "Wendys fries are ...idk..blah blah blah..." and I scrunched face at poster and said ...um ya...no ty. Was really happy I truely wasnt tempted with it :)
I am finding I am eating more like I should be eating (as far as amounts go) before my problems started and with the fact that I still need to monitor my carbs, I am doing okay. :)  I went today and finally bought some clothes that fit (again) because everything was too big...  Pants are size 4!!!!  THATS RIGHT A FOUR ... :)  Granted Jeans sizes still vary up a size or two because of ...well idk why but they do....but you know what...I'm okay with that. :) ITS NOT A 30!!!!!  :)  A girl from work wants to join me at gym to get in shape and lose some weight....she has come every day this week with me, (I was gentle)    She is smiling much more now and seems much happier...I think its doing her some good even if she never loses an ounce. (But I hope she does because its nice to see her happy.)   ......just keep swimming :)

Hopefully the new habits you've developed will carry you thru this tough time. If being "that time" you can handle it, then you must be pretty in control. I hope this gets fixed quick qnd you can get back to normal life, well as normal as life ever is.

Way to go, Swoosh!!!

Make sure you put those size 4 jeans on every few days or at least once a week -- that will keep you sure that you are on track.  An old Dr. Oz 'trick' --- make sure you put on your smallest jeans once a week -- and that they still fit --- if they are tight, cut back for a few days and try again.

Great work!!!

Hi there!  Size 4???  Good for you.

We should start an "Unfilled bandster" club.  I'll be in it for at least another month, hoping for an ulcer to heal.  So far, I'm doing pretty good, trying my best to stick with bandster portions, and keeping low-carb.  But, let me tell you, I have a renewed appreciation for my band, because I am HUNGRY!

Good luck to both you and Tami! You both seem to be coping really well! I think Tami has about a month more to manage unfilled - how long is it for you?

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

He said we should wait about a month, and its been a week, so three more weeks I guess. I need to go ahead and schedule that appt (he tends to fill spots fast)

Swoosh, I'm sending you "positive, strength wishes" all the way from Iowa.  Pants in a size 4, YIKES.  I'm wearing 14's ( pear shaped ) and would love to get to a 12.

Its  really baffling to me...I mean... some day they are gonna catch up with these people that are sizing cloths wrong and letting this fat girl squeeze into such a small number...they are gonna be in trouble!! LOL but until then...I am soooo going to wear them. :)  So very nice to not feel like the biggest one in the room anymore...I don't really feel small...I mean, idk, sometimes I think everyone is just being "nice" but I do feel better about how I look :) so that is something :)  Like a good friend told me....its whats on the inside that counts :)
