Oh Swoosh,
I'm so sorry to hear how things have been going for you.  (( HUGS ))

Any idea why the slip happened?  Were you sick with vomiting and then you think it slipped or the slip caused all the vomiting or ??????   I'm always wondering what I can do to prevent it, or if it's just plain old bad luck?

Please let us know how things are going for you.

Hugs,
Kristi

Hi,
Had some things happen in life that were REALLY bad, that was when the throwing up started, I had band loosened and it stopped for awhile, then another big stress and the vomiting resumed. I think they happened at same time, I don't think it could have been avoided for me. My body was just put through more than it could bare and the band paid for it.  But with any luck it will be fine and back on track in a month.  I am gonna keep thinking positive. :)  HUGS :)

RNY with
Oh I'm so sorry Swoosh. I have been unfilled for 3 weeks and am awaiting an endoscopy to confirm an ulcer (though by the time they get the damn thing done it will be healed and they will be scratching their heads wondering what was wrong to begin with). I joined weigh****chers as soon as they unfilled me and have actually lost 5lbs while wide open. All I can say is that you lost 168lbs so no one needs to tell you of all people how to keep the weight off because you have worked your bum off to get there. Try to stay encouraged. (((HUGS)))

:)  Thanks, I am trying to view it as that little test window to see how I can actually do on my own, I really appreciate the kind words.  I am feeling better so that's a plus :)  When things got bad (and it wasn't just the bands fault, life has thrown me some wicked curve balls) but when things got bad I stopped posting here not because I was trying to hide anything about what I was dealing with because of my band, but more worried that someone might grab it and throw a negative swing on it and scare new people.  I finally decided that if I didn't post something then I left the gate open for them to do so without even hearing from someone that wasn't out to bash the band. :)  My band might be in ICU ATM...but still was a great choice for me :)

....just keep swimming,

Swoosh :)
