Lack of Self Control...a work in progress
I can completely relate. When I got pregnant, I gave into my cravings and told myself when I had the baby that I'd get right back on track. Well my baby is 8 1/2 months and I am still eating badly. I have good streaks and then horrible sweet binges. It is amazing to me that I can not control myself. I know I'm addicted and have a problem too but I can't seem to get it under control.
I just want to say thank you for your honest post. I think it's safe to say that you just spoke for a lot of us here on the boards.
The advice I would offer is to get out of the carbs. I'm a big icecream addict. I find it's better to eat a tub of Fage yogurt with davinci's german chcolate cake syrup, coconut, and walnuts than a tub of icecream but I'm still getting the satisfaction. Might not be the "political" thing to do, but it works for me.
Again, thanks.

Singing to the choir. I made the choice to stop going to a dollar store I used to go to because as you walk into the front door the Crunch and Munch is right there. Only a dollar! Yeah right. I would start with one box on the weekend and started to progress to getting two boxes (one for Friday the one for Sat so I did not have to go out again) and wouldn't you know it they make it in a family size. Do you really need a family size of this stuff? I was starting to need to so NO MORE DOLLAR STORE!
