Hi everyone,

I am starting to get chest congestion and a cold..typically I would take mucinex, etc but those pills would appear to me as too big to just take.

I wondered what others take to help relieve congestion and general colds when they've got the band?

Any advice is welcomed!

Thanks!
Steve

I too use the children's medicine too.  Hope you feel better.  If it continues too long, you may want to see your doctor.

Steve,

You can get chewable mucinex.  I recently had bronchitis and I lived on Robitussin DM and liquid tylenol.  The DM type really helps with clearing out your chest.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

They have childrens mucinex in liquid.  I am terrified to take any pills so I have converted to taking children's chewable and liquids of everything from tylenol to vitamins.

Everyone,

Thanks for the replies. I am heading to the store now to get a variety of the items you've all provided me! I am not tighter due to being sick..I may feel right now like the opposite but who knows!

Colds suck, fighting them makes me feel better and now I will be able to do that :)

Have a great weekend!

Don't forget the hot tea/coffee/cocoa...whatever your poison.  Just keep sipping the warm drinks to keep mucous from building up.
