At three months out I was eating very mushy easy mac. But any other pasta no way. Now almost 2 years out I can eat whole grain pasta in small quantities.

I can eat pasta, but sometimes I found myself in trouble because I forget that the pasta will swell in my stomach and when it does..I find myself uncomfortable too full.

I can, but I don't generally.  I can't eat that much of it and if I'm eating my protein first, I wouldn't really have room for pasta (and if I eat the pasta instead, then I'm not getting my protein and I won't stay full as long and won't get much nutiritonally from the pasta on its own).

I can eat about a half cup.  But it has to be especially worthy and I don't often indulge.

If you find the need to eat pasta, Barilla Plus whole wheat penne is good and high protein. 2 oz is 210 calories, 2 grams fat  4 g fiber and 10 g protein. It is worth it if you are craving it.

I'm 9 1/2 months out and I'm able to eat pasta (I don't really have any food restrictions)...but I have to be careful. Like the poster said, I don't eat too much of it cause I won't have room for my protein and veggies. I like the Barilla Plus idea if you have a craving. I try to make it last on my plate to eat.

My band hates pasta so I don't eat it...that's fine with me though.  One less simple carb for me to have to worry about

i like dreamfields - i treat myself once a wk to a pasta dish......no problems, other than limiting my pasta cravings to once a wk.
