FitDay food journal
Hi friends,
I haven't posted in a while but I've been here reading your posts and keeping up.
I've been faithfully tracking my food (every day) since surgery June 2009 on the lapband.com site where they use FitDay. This week the format changed and I don't like it at all; I no longer have the option to choose from a recently eaten list and they no longer show totals. I hate to switch to a new tool after all this time but...
Anyway, any recommendations? What are you using?
Thanks for any input.

I don't log all the time, but when I do, I use SparkPeople.com. I don't recall seeing a "recently eaten" list, but they give you the option of copying a particular food/meal from one day to another. You also can designate certain foods as "favorites", and can select from that list instead of searching the whole site. I like the "food combinations" feature. So, if I'm eating the same thing frequently I can add that group all at once. For instance, I have a "food combination" called "Tami's breakfast", whi*****ludes 1/2 c. LF cottage cheese, 1/4 cup fresh blueberries, and 2 T. Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal. Instead of looking up each individual item to add to my food log, I just add "Tami's breakfast", and it drops the individual items into the food log. It gives you totals for calories, carbs, protein, and fat.
I undersand there are also some good food log apps for the iPhone if you use that, and then you have it with you all the time.
