loss of sleep
ps i am not in pain when I wake up
If you are under a week post-op, is it possible that you are feeling discomfort as you move in the night? Not enough to make you feel pain but enough to disturb your sleep.

Hello
I'm not sure how much you weight you have lost but another reason for sleep disruption could be hormones. Hormones are stored in our fat. As we lose weight excess hormones are released into your system, causing all kinds of problems for some people. Since our sleep cycles are controlled by our hormones I was wondering if that could be the problem. I would suggest getting something called Melatonin from your vitamin section. Melatonin is a naturally occurring substance in your body that helps with sleep. Melatonin should offer you some help. It's also non-habit forming.
It never did but it was a fear of mine. Till I could move around on the bed without having a little bit of pain or soreness I slept awful. I would end up taking long naps in the afternoon because I wasnt getting a good nights sleep.
Now that Im three months post op just losing almost 40 pounds I can tell a huge difference in my sleeping Im getting a good nights sleep and have cut out my naps .

I see a lot of people posting about insomnia post op regardless of surgery type. The day I got my band insomnia kicked in full force. I've been sleeved 2.5 years and it's still the same.
The band got me to goal, the sleeve will keep me there.
