Liquid Diet Eve...Take 2

So, I just ate my last solid for a while! I ate everything in site today, and I feel gross! Something about knowing you won't be able to eat anything for a while does something to you. Did any of you do this too?

I am all stocked up and ready to got...T minus 14 days! March 8th can't get here soon enough!

I had a similar experience! I went to Texas Roadhouse for what my friends deemed the "Last Supper" and I was so tight in the booth that despite the deliciousness that was steak and shrimp, I got nauseous from being so tight in the booth--talk about a sign!

I am just over 4 weeks post-op and feeling fabulous. Liquid diet for me wasnt hard and I ate up until the day I had to start it. I am now 6 weeks from when I started the liquid diet and down almost 50lbs!

WOW, 50 in 6 weeks...good for you! I am hoping for half that, dont want to get upset if I don't!

I am kinda glad I feel like this, it will stay in the back of my head the next two weeks!

I did the same thing my last night before starting my liquid diet. I went to Captain Ds. I ate my regular meal there. Which I looked up and found that it is around 3000 calories. I too felt gross. But it did help keep me from hving so many cravings during the liquid diet. And, by making yourself feel "gross" you have reminded yourself why you are doing this in the first place. I think everyone does the same thing pre liquid diet.  I went for belgian waffles before work, McDonald's for lunch and pasta and wine and chocolate paté for dessert for dinner.  Oh, I wish I'd had a steak.  I was a real dessert freak but now am CRAVING a nice grilled steak.  Down one clothing size though and feeling good.  You CAN do this!!  Best wishes, Karol

Thanks! Today went great...really great! the doctor's office called and they want to move up my surgery date to March 1st...one week away :)
