Tomorrow is MY day..
Hey Pam! I am a nurse with control issues who is much happier on the right side of the IV pole! LOL!! Was a nervous wreck before surgery but sailed through with flying colors and so will you!
Great to get in there an hour earlier... move up in the schedule and be on the loser's bench a little earlier than planned. Good luck to you!!

CONGRATS!! I'm also a nurse and have a hard time being the patient also!! It's funny how we are, I guess we are just used to caring for others! But take time to relax and recover!! You can do it!!! I hope everything will go well for you!! I'm sure everything will, keep us posted on how you are doing!!
It is perfectly normal to be anxious and nervous and excited. there are many emotions involved with this surgery. You will be fine and by this time tomorrow night you will have your new band be on your way to your new life. I was a mess and over nothing. I had a some discomfort but no real pain. I was up and walking that afternoon. I went to the hospital 2 or 3 hours prior to surgery. there is a lot to do. Good luck. Let us all know how you make out. Take Care, ME
Wow! My day is tomorrow too! Must be good luck for all of us starting our new lives! My anxiety started at Noon today, could not get myself calmed down. I'm so afraid I will forget something in getting my family taken care of while I'm in the hospital. Or forgetting my ID, do I have enough clothes, etc...ahhhhh! LOL
