When does the shoulder pain stop?

LOL! I totally understand; hope everything went well. I lost my band 2 years ago, and that butt expansion is not a joke!

As others have said we all react differently so here goes my story.  For the first couple of days I didn't have any pain and then it hit for a couple of days and went away.  After a week it came back and I went for a massage and that helped a lot (I checked with my surgeon first to make sure it was ok).  I also did a lot of walking the day of and days after surgery.

It will get better hang in there.

Thanks so much; you all have been so helpful. I'm going to tough it out, b/c the shoulder pain doesn't compare to the migraine headaches that have stopped even in this short time, and also the heart palpitations I had are gone. I'll approach it like everything else: It gets greater later!

If memory serves, I actually had lingering shoulder pain for well over a year. People said it was from the anasethic (sp) but obviously for me it wasn't :) I had shoulder pain often when I ate too much. It was definitely a "stop" signal for me.
