Help has anyone had this problem

I had lap-band on dec 7, 2010 and I have been weighing in 1 time a week and am gaining and losing the same 2.5 lbs for the past 3 weeks

YES!!! i had my band on 12-14-10. I, too thought WHAT IS HAPPENING or should I say WHY isn't happening. But once i got my fill and started exercising the lbs started coming off. At first I thought I was doing something wrong and thought I was going to fail this too. so hang in there..

 I was banded on November 9th.  It wasn't until this past month that I started to go down.

 I have an 11cc band and I am at 7cc now.  I am just about there.   Plus I've started moving my butt.  At least 6 days a week.  Walking mostly.  So it's nothing strenuous.  I saw 250 on the scale for the first time in a long time.  
I'm only snacking if I snack on things like beef jerky or cashews. I snacked on water ice this week as Aunt Flo was visiting and thats the only time I lose control.
Personally I'm steering clear of bread and using carb control wraps.  

Have you had any fills yet?  My husband was banded a week after me and his weight loss is slow.  But he's not in the green zone yet.

Yep...and exercising and eating lean proteins and drinking lots of water resolved it.

You really havent give us very much info so going to ask these questions becaue this is what I do .

Do you exercise ??

I exercise every other day for 30 min . I do Zumba 4 times a week with Curves

How many carbs are you eating in a day ?

I limit mine to 40-50 per day

Are you drinking your water ?

Are you eating a bunch of junk food ?

I eat my three meals a day sometimes two , one snack a day , exercise .

Most important are you eating high soidum foods ? ? sodium is a killer trying to lose weight. If I eat anything really high or eat to much high sodium foods I can gain any where from 3-5 pounds and it takes me a couple days to get it off .

When I follow these guiedlines I lose any where from 1-2 pounds per week

I had my surgery Jan 4 2011. The first month I lost 18 pounds and then it stopped. Since then I have lost only 2 or 3 pounds total with the sea-saw up one, down one back and forth. I have been very discouraged. I use a computer log that counts everything for me and I am staying low on calories and carbs, everything. It seems that it is taking time to adjust to more real foods. Also, I lost a lot that first month and shouldn't expect to continue at that rate I was told by the surgeon.

Yep same here.. I had gained when I went in for my first fill..  I almost screamed.

Failed Lapband December 2010,Revision to RNY 2015.
