....with destiny. i've finally been approved!
i'll be banded march 9.

i've knocked out the six-month supervised diet, the psych consult, nutrition appointments.
now to tackle this icky, pre-op diet and bloodwork.

reading these boards, i've come to realize the difference in liquid diets. mine will be a 14-day, liquid (SF jello, pudding and applesauce; four protein shakes a day; broth; 1% cottage cheese; plain oatmeal) - and i can't wait to get it over with. any tips for making it through?

p.s. thanks for all who provided advice last week on the sleep study. i went ahead and did it, and while it wasn't the best night of sleep and i nearly ripped off all the wires during the night in a fit of clausterphobia, it wasn't as bad as i expected. don't have my results yet, but glad to know that i'll be going into surgery with a clear mind.

Good for you. Its not that far away! Now, its time to get ready. You'll be busy recovering that the first week will go fast. One thing I do for cottage cheese is put seasonings in it to give it falvor- check with your surgeon to make sure it ok.

I wish you well! K
