{{{{HUGS}}}} for coming on the board and baring your soul!  I know that can't be easy.  Make this support group a daily need.  Write down every bite you put in your mouth.  Drink your 64 ounces of liquid.  Keep your protein grams up (50 or more a day).  Walk.  Even if all you can do is 5 minutes, then do that 5 minutes, then the next time, try for 6.  Walk outside or inside your home (I walk inside my home every day, especially during these winter months).  Use one of those food trackers, like Daily Plate so you can see how much protein, carbs or fat you are eating on a regular basis.  Start out slow, pick one the things I've listed and start with that.  Then add more as you feel able to.  If you can, get rid of as much slider foods out of your home as you can.  Plan your meals so you won't be caught off guard when you get hungry.  You've already started making the right choices when you chose to come here.  Good Job!

I was touched by your story. Yes, we can all identify and feel your pain.
Do you have a really good nutritionist who can work with you?
Are you willing to make some small changes at this point?

I eat many many small meals throughout the day. I do NOT have time to SIT for 30 to 45 minutes to eat a meal. I'm constantly on the go. So I pack up snacks including protein that I eat during the day.

STock up on :

S/F jello, pudding, ice pops, apple sauce, yogurt, cottage cheese.....

Sip all day long, sugar free ice tea, lemonade, hot chocolates, water.....

If you're on the go like me, you have to work with your lifestyle.....

Get your head in the game just for 1 meal! for 1 day! You can do it.,,,u r worth it!!!!

I find myself eating too fast, eating/drinking slider foods, because it just seems like such a big inconvenience to sit and spend 30 - 45 minutes every time I eat. I eat stuff that I know will go down quick.....

Are you a bit tight? Unless a meal is a big social occasion, I never need to take  this length of time to eat a full meal.

If eating "normal " food becomes an inconvenience, then I can understand you going to slider foods. For me personally, if I had to meat as slowly as you are doing, i would be getting an unfill.

I havent been on here in quite a long time but it seems as though everytime I do I find some one having the same dilemma as me.  I guess im just not mentally ready.  I have had the band for 6 months and Ive only lost 55lbs.  Sometimes its easier to eat slider foods, sometimes I end up not eating anything and I know thats not right either but my doctor has never really told me what to eat.  I hear different people talking about weighing food but he has never told me to weigh or measure anything.  I want to lose weight so badly I just dont know WHAT to eat.  Maybe I will get it together soon.
