I was a bad girl
I don't go for this "bad girl" and confession thing.
Did you get the band in order to never enjoy food ever again? I didn't. I lost all my excess weight by making heatlhy choices about 80% of the time.
I like food. It tastes good! There is no way I can live the rest of my lfie without having things i enjoy. I just won't have them often. But i won't spoil pleasure by feeling guilt when I do. (I might feel lots of guilt if I did it ALL the time!)
And anyway 1700 is probably still a calorie deficit!

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
I had my band put in to help me get heathy and do the things I no longer could do because of all the excess weight. I really try on a daily basis to eat along the guide lines..but we are human and all love food so if we don't eat the things we love every so often we deprive ourselves of the joy of eating and become board with the same old stuff and then will binge eat. SO enjoy life. and eat what you like once in awhile...

At least 3 times a month I eat well over 2500 calories. I enjoy every bite and I do not feel guilty. I have been a size 6, sometimes size 4 for over 5 years. What does that tell you? I did not want to have that "diet mentality". That is what got me over 200 plus lbs. Staying on a diet all of my life, feeling guilty when I had cake, like normal people do. I had to change my way of thinking and eating after this surgery. It has worked for me. I love being a bad girl.
