Where do you get stuck?
I knew about getting stuck before surgery, but I didn't realize where I'd experience that sensation. So I'd like to know where everyone else gets stuck.
For me, it's in my esophagus, high up. If I had an Adam's Apple that is the location of my stuck sensation.
If this is 'normal', can someone explain 'why there?' to me.
Thanks for all of your input!
I worry when you say the first bite of anything that you eat gets stuck. You may want to cut that first bite in half again and make sure you are chewing 20-30 times. I know that when I start eating, I tend to eat fast....so it may be if you are hungry you are eating too fast or too big of bites.
There is another explaination, first bite syndrome, but I don't have that so I'm not sure how to explain it. I'm sure someone else will jump in here and explain that!
Hope that helps.

I get stuck sorta mid chest...i feel it like a ball then i cant swallow and then the slime....thenafter all the arm flailing and bouncing and walking and it doesnt go down....up it comes and if its all out i know ...if not i still cant swallow my saliva...my problem..i dont snack in between meals so im starving at lunch and dinner...i eat to fast and bites are to big....
u can sip on hot tea b4 you eat ....or if u have first bite syndrome...take a small bite chew chew chew...wait a few minutes then try again...i think it depends on how your sitting...if your at a table its okay but like slumped in a couch eating may cause where u get stuck higher? and standing is another ball game ...which us bansters shouldnt eat and stand!
