.....she is one of THOSE EVIL PEOPLE.

You know, the kind who NEVER exercises, yet maintains a healthy weight.  She actually lost 25 pounds recently by not doing anything special.  Yes, I hate her!

But I am really hoping my need for exercise rubs off.  I know even some cardio would do wonders for her heart (which she is at terrible risk for heart disease).

Is anyone else working out hard hoping to have some success and inspire others?

Well I'm not at the moment! But I am a very goal-motivated person and if I say i am going to do something, I do it even if it almost kills me.

So i am doing a 5k in June but ,unlike the previous ones I have done, I am going to run rather than power walk. I may end up not beating my own PB of 35 minutes though as I walk fast! I am going to start the C25k when I get back from holiday at the beginning of March. I have the podcast downloaded ready!

Then I am signed up for a 1/2 marathon in September. I will NOT be running that. I am saying I am going to do it in 3 1/2 hours but secretly hope for a bit less!

So I am not working hard now but will be doing so!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Arrgh. I'm married to "one of those" too! My hubby is so thin and it's just because he never sits. He eats tons and tons of chocolate and ice cream and still is thin. I work out every day for hours and can't lose anything!   BUT, yeah, I know that exercise is still the key and I kinda like doing it now.  I have very strong butt cheeks.

My best friend works out with me and two other friends have since joined my gym, so it's kind of cool that we can all meet up there on occasion. (I'm one of those people who puts their headphones on to workout, though. No talking at me! No soup for you!)

I think it's awesome that you're working so hard to get where you want to be.
