Ugh, BETTE!  Now you made me look!  There goes MY peace and serenity.

Just more bitterness from someone that can't keep quiet no matter what.

Life is too short to be so unhappy.  Plus, there's sunshine in Seattle today!  I'm not going to let the poision run MY day!

Peace!

I saw all the drama, and being pre-op, got immediately insulted!  I've done my research, consulted with more than one physician, and am ready for the band in 10 days.  I came away from the initial post believing that some people on here only think their surgery choice is the way to go.  Everyone's body is different, as well as our own situations.  Because of being the mother of a special needs child, my recovery from the surgery needs to be quick.  I felt the Band was the least-invasive, and feel confident that I have made the right choice.

If it turns out that the Band is not the right choice, then I know I have other options in the future.  If someone on here who I've never met, never care to meet, and has nothing to do with my life or my happiness thinks I'm stupid - then so be it.  :-)
