Feeling the food go thru the band...

Every now and then if I have a bite that is too big or not chewed enough - after the "stuck" pain sometimes I can litterally FEEL it go thru my band.  Is this normal?  It's not daily or anything....Just since I got a fill a few weeks ago.  I'm not too tight cuz I can eat and drink.  But I do seem to have 1st bite syndrome sometimes and this feeling it pass as well.

Oh yea I have even told my family I can feel it. At first a little wierd but now I do not even think about it. Loving the Band.

I'm thinking so. I'm not an expert by any means yet, but I can most definitely feel it too sometimes.

I know exactly what you mean. Also, Sometimes while drinking liquids it feels like water circling a drain. so weird, but loving my band.

Not normally but if I eat a bit which is just a little bit too big, then yes, i feel ti going through. Not pain, just sort of stretching feeling!

When I was tighter... yeah. It was more the relief and absense of "back up" that I felt. I knew instantly when it had passed.

i can feel it go right down when i drink somthing very cold.....i sometimes feel it after a PB ...and after i get a fill because of the no food thing for 2 days i notice it more

Yup - I can feel every single bite go through if I think about it.  totally weirds me out! lol

 And in the other direction...tying into the burping thread...I can feel air percolate up throught the band stoma from my stomach to the pouch (and then I can belch it out).  Usually happens when I eat or drink too fast.  Kind of a weird sensation, though I've gotten used to it.
