My doc told me between 800-900 each day... can't say that I follow that but that is what I am aiming for.
In the UK we are told never to eat under 1200 unless we are taking in a pile of supplements. It seems to be different in the US but many people still eat as I do around 1200.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
do you have to keep track of all the calories in everything you eat each day....I have never done that...I feel I go nuts doing that...I know I don't have enough protein some days. and other times more carbs than supposed too..Right now I'm trying to adjust to the textures of foods and how well I handle them...I would take any suggestions that would help me out without this being difficult. I've been eating more at dinner time and wanting to snack more and this is old patten I hard to work on..It will slow down my weight loss for sure...
