I honestly care more about a size:) Not even 100...but to get to the size I want to be again I was around 100 lbs lighter so thats what made me say 100....Its a goal for me...even if I lose 65lbs I will be super happy!!!

I stuck to my doctors plan for the most part..

protein, fruit, veggies and a few bites of grain..

I limited my drinking .. I drank but not as much and I used Crystal light with Vodka.. so i didn't consume too many excess calories.

I got fills

I zumba my butt off.. Yes I did exercise at least 3-4 days a week

I wasn't obessive..

Hope that helps

I take the classes at the gym. I'm not sure if you have a member**** but any exercise its going to be difficult in the beginning.. I would start with walking if you don't have a membership to a gym then try a few tapes at home.

I would use Jillian Michaels or Bob Harper.. any of the Biggest Loser.. it's good to challenge yourself...

If you have a membership I would attend classes.. try kickboxing, zumba .. zumba is a dance class/exercise with latin or hip hop music I LOVE IT.

Meeeeee!!!!   I told myself on the day of surgery that I wanted to loose 100 at the year mark and I made it.  Now the last 6 months I have been enjoying myself a little bit too much and my weight stalled out.  I have never gained ( maybe 1-2 lbs water weight some mornings getting on the scale)  over the last 6 months.

The last 2 weeks I have gone back to basics and started tracking my food and the weight is coming off again.

I could never have done this without the band.   LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Good luck with your big day.
Remember, if you want to be a 155 pound person, you have to EAT like one.

I lost 100 in the first 14 months. I was high BMI... went from 384 to 284.

You can do it. What an awesome pot of gold at the end... a wedding. YAY!

I lost 100 lbs. (from 273 to 173) in 9 months (another 20 lbs.. or so later).  I kept my band on the looser side, ate 5-6 small meals/snacks of healthy, clean, "whole" foods, drank my water, and exercised.  The biggest factor in achieving your goals is focus and motivation.  Looks like you have motivation covered!  So, stay focused (and ignore the board negativity).  You truly CAN do this, if you choose to.

I lost 100 pounds in about 10 months....these last few pounds are taking FOREVER though, LOL.

I was fanatical about counting calories (I limited my carbs for the first few months) and exercise though.  I started out walking, then running, then took an interest in biking (which I still LOVE)....I mostly just did cardio for the first 50 pounds or so, and then I added weights to my routine after that.  I will also admit that I'm one that still drinks protein shakes as a staple (I know, not supposed to, but honestly, it works for me and I stay full and I like them, I realize this isn't true for everyone)

It's definitely possible (not necessarily easy though  - for me)

Congrats on the big wedding!!
