Just wondering if anyone else has been cold after losing weight...

I have lost 26 lbs now since lab band surgery but notice that I am cold all the time, is this normal?

I still have tons of weight to lose but was just wondering if this happens to anyone else...

"WAVING" hand in the air!  Yes, all of my blood work is normal also.  I can't get warm most of the time.  I even bought battery operated gloves for my drive home after work.  My car sits outside at work for 13 hours during the night and it's awful, so the gloves help.  I even have my heated seat on for the 1/2 hour drive home.  Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Count me in! I am always freezing. My coworkers can't believe it because I used to complain about being hot. I would even wear my short sleeve scrubs in the winter. This year I'm layering them with a long sleeve shirt AND a jacket.

You're loosiing your insulation girl!  Congrats.  If you haven't had your thyroid checked in a while, it wouldn't be a bad idea.
Dress in layers and try to stay warm.

Me too....I actually asked my surgeon about this and he said that when you have surgery you experience a metabolic change and that can result in feeling cold.  He also said that this will go away as the body adjusts to the recent surgery.

FREEZING!!!! I invested in 3 pair of super soft insulated long johns and I have them on a regular rotation. I currently own six pair of heavy duty wool hiking socks and never am I without at least 3 layers on top.  LAYER- LAYER- LAYER.

Hubby and I have been fighting with the thermostat since I could get off the couch post-op. Two and a half years I've been freezing my shrinking ass off. I told him to get over it!  68 is my new 62.
