Good luck!  If you've only gained 35 pounds in 9 months without your tool then you've done well!

Best wishes! If i ever lose mine, I hope i can get it replaced!

See you are a patient of Dr Curry. Do tell him from us bandsters that we really miss his thread! It used to be at the top of this page permanently for us to ask his views. He helped so many people and we were truly grateful. There was a rumour he was coming back - hope it is true!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Good for you! I think 35 is a very respectable number given the situation.

I hope that having your band back will help you get back in control and get you where you hope to be. Happy healing!!!

Would you mind saying why your original band was removed?  I had mine removed after only 3 months due to the fact it had slipped beyond repair.  I am now seeking approval for another procedure, and am actually considering the lap band again.  I would love to compare experiences.  If your removal was due to slippage, does your surgeon have any concerns about a repeat of that experience?
