if i was aiming at you only - i would have named you.
while you did do exactly what i said - it has been going on for a while now, unblocking - commenting - reblocking.....all while not allowing the person slammed an opportunity to respond.

it's just ****ty.
if you don't care for what someone has to say & block them- they should be left out of your experience here.

also, if someone lies about my band experience here on the net w/strangers - i'd laugh at them, rather than get indignant.   i know my story & i wouldn't turn over my joy to someone i don't know.
just my OP.

Don't you dare leave! People need you! You are an ex-bandsters who is able to put across your p.o.v. in a non-confrontational way - we should all be grateful to you. I know I am.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I'm almost 2 1/2 years out and very happy I had the lap band surgery.

As with all surgeries(not just bariatric) there can be risk and future complications.

The VSG posters can say "their" proceedure is better than lapband and less complications, just as the Gastric Bypass posters could post that they have better weightloss than the VSG posters. To each his own.

There's no limit on the seminars you can attend. Most doctors perform both surgeries. I relied on my doctors advice(and attending two different seminars) on which proceedure was "best for me".

It's one thing to disagree with and give your experience about lap band surgery, but when it becomes unhealthy, it might help some to focus on themselves instead of living in dysfunctional behavior.

One more thing, there are definitely pros/cons with each surgery. I personally like the fact that the death rate is lower with lap band. But I don't go to other forums and tell everyone they have a higher risk dying than I do for chosing their surgery.
