Suggestions?

Long story short...........15 fills now. Liquids not staying down.............getting hypoglycemicy. Any suggestions?

get an unfill.

Oh I plan on that tomorrow. Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for tonight.

soups or tea ?

my go to when sick or tight - egg drop or hot & sour; goes down fine.

Tried hot tea today and it wouldn't go down. However since I first posted this I tried some hot chocolate and so far so good................

Is it all possible to find another doctor.  That many fills seems excessive in the amount of time you have had the band.

I have had 6 fills, my last being August '10 .  My fills have all been done under fluro.  I love getting them done under fluro because I can see how big my pouch is and how small the opening is when the liquid goes thru.  This does help when I want to put that extra mouth full in, (on the days I think I can eat all and everything) .  I can visually recall how small my tummy really is. 

A lady at my support group developed Hypoglycemia within the last 5 months and is now seeing a specialist.  She was very sick.  She had RNY which does happen often with RNY WLS..She is now following a strict diabetic diet. (I think it means that she has to really remove all the sugar from her diet)

Liquids not going down is a huge sign that you are too tight.  Please call your dr asap

Actually I have changed Drs. He's very good, but still not having much luck with fills. :-(

I will be going in tomorrow for a partial unfill.

No brilliant suggestions but a big  and hope you feel better real soon!

I was too tight on Thurs and I couldn't even swallow my saliva. I was spitting in a cup overnight and all morning until I could get in for an unfill.

Stick to HOT clear liquids if you can get them down. I couldn't. Good luck!
