.... the 60th birthday party of a friend I shared a flat with in London in the 1970s when we were both card-carrying hippies!

Because 4 years ago, I was a fat, dowdy blimp! I hid behind plus size (26) clothes in old lady colours.

Now for her birthday, I bought a slinky black top to go with a sexy black skirt. I have shoes with killer heels and a shrug with sequins.

Mind you, because the band is so flexible, I will be able to enjoy the party food and drink! Then a very abstemious next few days.

Gotta love this band!

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
