Lap Band Surgery Date

Well after 2 years looks like im finally going to get my lap band surgery, possibly on the 15th of Feb, it feels so surreal, im scared and nervous, I been waiting so long for this! Any adivce!

Congratulations!! The 15th will be here sooner than you think.  Right now, You should be focusing yourself and practicing your new habits that will make you successful (chew chew chew, sip sip sip!)  Also, make sure you stock your pantry with all of the foods that you will need post!

congratulations on your up-coming surgery.
It took me 4 years to get the lap band and I'm telling you it
is the greatest decision I've made and a true miracle.
I'm only around 6 weeks post op. There is some pain after surgery, for
me, but I quickly recovered within a week and was able to start to eat slowly.
It's a miracle! Please let us know how it goes. My advice, embrace this new journey
in your life. It is a tool that helps you get healthier. You won't regret it!

Also, yes, you MUST stock up on bariatric foods so you will have all you need for healing. My nutritionist started me on protein powder shakes, bariatric vitamins, and i had a supply of sugar free jello and sugar free ice pops in the freezer/frig.
Consult your doc for any foods you may need. Good luck~
