I'm happy!
I'm not around here much these days, I spend a lot more time thinking about my adorable 18 month old boy than I do thinking about my band.
Did I lose everything I wanted to? No, but what I haven't lost is, I know, the result of me being stubborn.
On the other hand, I have maintained my loss now for 5 years, my health is great, I had a great pregnancy and what few problems I have had with my band have not permanently damaged my health.
Whenever I find myself envying someone who had a more invasive surgery, I inevitably see a post about someone having an intestinal obstruction, having severe malabsorbtion issues or some other emergency and I go back to being pretty happy with my choice!

Banded 03/22/06  276/261/184 (highest/surgery/lowest)

Sleeved 07/11/2013  228/165 (surgery/current) (111lbs lost)

Mom to two of the cutest boys on earth.

I love, love, love my band. My journey has not been easy or trouble free, but honestly, nothing in my life has been easy or trouble free, so why would I expect otherwise? I'm healthier and happier and more energetic now than ever before. No crying here!

Love my band. It has not been a totally smooth journey but i do not regret it for one second.

And as you say yourself, if I lost my band tomorrow, i still would not regret having it done!
