Vomiting and bowl problems
Hi. I had my initial banding on 6/8/2010 and was doing great until I got food poisioning in October 2010. All fluid taken out and then band revision 12/16/2010. Now having problems for past 2 weeks. No bowel movement in approx 10 days. Had 2 of my 3cc's taken out last week. Finally took 3 xtra strength laxitives 2 days ago and thought I was dying yesterday. Still vomitting and not really keeping much down. I know I am dehydrated but don't know if maybe now that I got everything moving again that I might be on the mend.
I start a new job on Monday and obviously can't afford to miss any work right now. Help Please!

Dehydration might cause your bowels to mess up also but dont quote me on that. I agree with His Lady you should never be throwing up with your band so I would be calling him first thing Monday morning to get in even if you need to miss work nothing to mess with there.
I have had a lot of problems with bowel movements since I got the band I go but its only three to four days and its small its just cause we dont eat alot .
What I have to do is eat salads also with my dinner. I eat a small salad about a hr or so before dinner I do not add any protein just salad and well a little cheese but nothing to count .
I have noticed that since I have added some salads to my meals that is helping me go more often now to .
Or I will eat a big salad for lunch and add some chicken , cheese .

You sound like you need to call NOW and talk to your PCP or surgeon. You need to go in and get some anti nausea meds and IV fluids. You shoud do everything possible not to vomit. Dehydration can make you nauseated. 10 days is way toooooo long to wait to have a BM. Please do something NOW.
