Dieter's Prayer

This was sent to me from a friend,  thought it was cute!

 

DIETER'S PRAYER
 

As I wake from my sleep
 

I pray my Diet I may keep.
 

but if temptation makes me slip,
 

I pray the lord my pants won't rip
 

So grant me strength, that I may not fall
 

into the clutches of cholesterol.
 

May my flesh with carrot-curls be dated,
 

that my soul may be poly unsaturated.
 

Give me this day my daily slice
 

Cut it thin and toast it twice.
 

And cream is cursed; and cake is awful;
 

and Satan is hiding in every waffle.
 

Teach me the evil of mayonnaise,
 

and of pasta a la Milanese...
 

and crisp-fried chicken from the South.
 

Lord, if you love me, shut my mouth.
