I commute in to downtown Minneapolis from the 'burbs, and I used to be the last person anybody wanted to sit next to on the bus. In fact, there were at least a few times where people would rather stand on a full bus than sit next to me. It made me feel awful and totally invisible.

Today, and now many more days since losing weight, I'm often the FIRST person people want to sit by!

I was chatting with the girls down at the coffee shop yesterday. We were looking at my photo shoot pictures. one of them asked to see some of my "before" shots and was totally blown away. She asked when I had my surgery and I told her. She kind of looked taken aback. She said, "I knew you then? I don't remember you being that big!"

At that weight I was completely invisible to her. She knew me alright. She just had never taken the time to get to know me. Now days we have a pretty good friendship. This continues to be an exciting and adventurous journey of self discovery and health.

I went to the NY Rangers vs The Flyers at Madison Square Garden NYC last night and got called sexy by a couple of guys there. My husband and I were getting a kick out of it. He was like, yeah, she's mine! LOL. I went with an old friend, who happens to be a bariatric surgeon, and he called me skinny! .... WOW never heard that directed towards me before. It felt good.

all the weight has been lost post-op..I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

highest weight: 333 pounds (I know I gained after my last "weigh in" in the doctors office so probably it's more like 340 pounds)
current weight: 151 pounds (7/12/11)
I've been at goal (165 pounds) for 6 months now and now on maintence. I tend to go up and down depending on time of the month and such!
