Port Q

Quick question. Recently my port is getting more irritated when I bend over. Not just bending over, bending very slightly in that direction can be uncomfortable now.

Has the port flipped more or is this just becoming more noticable b/c of the weight lost?

The thinner I got the more my port hurt. Running would irritate it, pretty much anything would because there wasn't a bunch of fat covering it and when it actually sticks out it's easier to bump and irritate.

The band got me to goal, the sleeve will keep me there.

Mty guess would be the latter. Of course it may be the former. Does that help at all?

But to be a bit more helpful! I find that my port is just occasionaly uncomfortable when i bend or lie on it nowadays and assume it is just the lack of a fat pad.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Hopefully it's nothing. It only bothers me when I move, lol.
