Ladies, I was nice - can I say that? I didn't understand that before.

We have to talk ourselves up and not talk ourselves down.

This is the one pic I have on my profile.  There are tons more which I have not posted on my profile.  I remember snapping this with my cell phone because I didn't know how I looked, if I were "normal".  I needed to take body pics for a plastic surgery consult with Dr. Agha.  $28,000 to do "the works"!  With time, I went on to find that I was "okay"  Shoot, I wish this was me today.  I took it for granted!  Love you where you are right now.   
Watch out, I am about to become the Spinning Princess!  This weight goes even without WLS.  Until then and every step of the way I have to love me exactly the way I am right now.

You sound as if you've turned a corner. I am happy things are improving.  I'm hoping nothing but for your success  hope you will never feel unwelcome here.  You've had a rough time.  You can get back to that picture. I've never looked that good! (yet ).

This mental picture of ourselves is so hard to shake!  When I was 22 yrs old & single, I was 125 lbs and bulimic.  I felt FAT but the pictures show a too-skinny-girl.   Thats one reason I am taking
pics once a month on this journey.  I have to look at the pictures to actually tell if there's any difference.   The pictures are helping my mental image of myself improve.

Please let us know how tthe spinning goes. Sounds fun.

Leila, you sound great and you look fantastic. You may not be what you were, but are sure not what you used to be. You are truly gorgeous, and you can be very proud of how well you have maintained. Glad to see you doing so well.
