Hello

I love my band.  I have complained about my band in the past because I was losing soooo slowly.  But now faced with an unknown issue (I'm seeing the surgeon today) I am terrified that I will lose my fill or lose my band.  I might have been frustrated and impatient but I now realize that I don't want to be without it.  Since I have had my band I have lost weight consistently maybe not as fast I had hoped...but I AM losing!!!  You mentioned yo-yo dieting...I didn't even think of that.  Since my band I have stopped the yo-yo cycle.  I am now appreciative of what I have and what I have accomplished.  I have lost 120+ pounds so far!!!  I don't fear gaining it back...like I always did before.

Next time I get pissed off at my band or impatient (and I am sure I will) I will try to remind myself of how bad it was before my surgery!!!!

I'm in.....I have had my band for 21 months now and no complications. I <3 my band!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that when I am not losing it is always because of something I'm NOT doing like focusing on the band rules. We knew what we could and could not have before getting the band, Its really not that hard when you are doing what your told!!!

Count me in Kate,
I love my band because it has given me control over my life and eliminated the health risk that came from the yo yo dieting.
I now have the energy to get up off my *ss and exercise and stay fit.
I love that it reminds me on occasion to stop eating what I shouldn't.

Count me in Kate!   I may be a newbie to the band but I came in with my eyes wide open.  If something goes wrong I will deal with it.  I love my band!  I am amazed at the tiny portions of food that now satisfies me.  Do I sometimes WANT to eat more?? You betcha but I don't.
