Do we really need all this drama?
Basically this is a great board! it goes in cycles (and I have been here for almost 5 years). Nice and calm and supportive. Then drama and sheer petty stupidity. But then it dies down again.
When i started out it used to be RNY (just a few peopel) against the band.
Then it became a few DSers againstt the band.
Now it is VSG!
So hang around - it will settle down again. Just use the block tab!

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
I am not sure, what is your definition of drama? Running through the halls screaming about a laff band, choke chain, or other such insulting terms or telling our band stories and posting stats, facts, and peer reviewed studies? Some feel if you don't sing praises of the band, that is bashing. If you post facts and stats, that is bashing.
What do you consider bashing? Proof that the band isn't effective long term or calling it bad names?
