I'm Sorry Tammy
Tammy...I am so sorry that you bore the brunt of my frustration last night...We have had two deaths in the last two weeks and I have been dealing with my 89 yr old FIL and his 3-5 yr old antics for 3 weeks...just hit a wall and really didn't read your entire post before responding. I hope that you will forgive me my insensitivity and rude post.
You did get a lot of great advice from others and hope you are feeling better this morning.
Again, my sincere apologies.
Stephanie

I absolutely forgive you Stephanie & respect you very much for apologizing!
I'm so sorry to hear about the deaths in your family & struggles of your FIL, I know just how stressful life can get! Try to focus on the positives in your life at this time & be thankful for what you do have. Remembering it could always be worse gets me through a lot of my own life's moments of unhappiness.

Tammy, if you had surgery in July, your hair is probably going to be OK! Hair loss as a result of anaesthesia happens usually at about 3 - 4 months post-op. And hair loss as the result of weight loss usually only happens with dramatic loss like the loss people with RNY and DS often get.
And I bet your mother would be so proud of you for taking control of your weight!
Fingers crossed for you! Kate
