Why am I still amazed nearly 2 years later??
After reading Tiff's post earlier, I decided to jump on her bandwagon and get serious about going back to the rules.
I just finished fixing 4 small turkey meatballs. I could only eat 2. 5 before I was completely full! I was amazed, but frankly I don't know why I am . This is what the band was meant to do. You eat solid protein, you get full with small amounts!
LOVE MY BAND!!!

I will reply to this post since I am not if the first one will go to you. LOL
Not sure how much you know about my story,......but I have been basically without restriction for the last 8 months. My last fill about 3 weeks ago has given me some restriction, finally!! I ALMOST have the amount that I really want.......but after 8 months of NONE, I am happy.
Your post struck a chord with me. I have been stressed with so many life issues the last year that I have eaten all kinds of junk. With my newfound restriction, I am trying to really use my tool the way that it's meant to be used. By that, I have been really eating solid protein, mostly.
I was also amazed today at how little I can eat when eating solid food. I had really good restriction for almost a year before my slip. You would think that I wouldn't be amazed at this point, yet I am. I am very happy.

I've been whining around for weeks telling my family I need a fill, but too afraid to call the surgeon. I think it is because I KNOW what I'm supposed to be doing, but haven't been doing it. Getting back on track is rough, especially if you don't feel like you have restriction.
Glad to hear that things are going a little better for you. I can't imagine how difficult it was being unfilled after a slip. I'm glad you didn't give up!

The basics are going alright....I'm fighting a headache on top of this brilliant plan of mine. What perfect timing I have.
I think I might be fighting a little boredom hunger and not my growling tummy hunger. I need to be sure I'm feeling what I'm feeling....does that make sense. I don't honestly trust myself some times!
